Thanks to your support, Praxis continues to evolve and improve.
If you use the app on multiple devices, you can now easily share bookmarks and history between them. For instance, you could discover an article on your phone, open it in Praxis to bypass the paywall, then pick it up later on your iPad to continue reading on a larger screen.
Your browsing data is automatically synced via Apple iCloud in the background, so you don’t have to do anything for this to work. Just tap the moustache icon to open the bookmarks manager, and you will see your devices appear in a list at the top. Tap the name of a device to see your latest activity on it, then find the page you wanted to get back to.
As always, your browsing data remains completely private and visible only to you. Apple CloudKit, the database technology that powers this feature, encrypts the data in such a way that neither Apple nor us can read it directly.
In addition to iCloud sync, Praxis 1.6.0 comes with an improved bookmark manager UI. It is now more powerful and less cluttered, allowing you to organise your folders and bookmarks with greater ease than before.
Get Praxis 1.6.0 on the App Store for iOS 17 and iPadOS 17.
Stay tuned for more updates, as we continue to make Praxis your go-to companion iOS browser for fighting against the broken Web.
Share and enjoy.
