Version 1.5.0 of Praxis — a no-JavaScript browser for iOS — is now available on the App Store with iPadOS support.
Window management continues to be a difficult problem in iPadOS, but at least in the latest version Apple has made it an aesthetically pleasing experience. Praxis supports running in a completely resizable window that looks great under Stage Manager.
The base app has received minor design improvements, mainly around the Quiet Filter reading feature. And by ‘design improvements’ we mean the icon has changed: it’s a friendly moon with stars now.
Coming next: more reading filters (Black, Sepia); iCloud sync; URL bar redesign.
